Holding your civil ceremony and wedding reception at The Forest The Forest has two rooms licensed to hold civil ceremonies, the smaller Claret room seating up to 80 and the Olive room which seats up to 140 guests. Civil ceremonies are available any day of the week and offer an alternative for couples looking for a non religious ceremony or a more relaxed occasion for a second marriage. Smaller groups are well catered for in the Claret room with an intimate sit down meal for up to 40 people whereas the Olive room is available for larger parties seating up to 140 people. Every wedding is unique and each couple have their own requirements, which is why here at The Forest we have developed two different options for your wedding; The Forest à la carte wedding reception: Here you can individually select your requirements and we will price it together for you. This service ensures a tailor made wedding package based on your own personal choices. View more information about our all inclusive wedding reception It goes without saying that your wedding will be a very special day, and with the combination of the stylish surroundings and the support of our wedding co-ordinator, we will help to make it a truly memorable day. The food served at such a special occasion is an important part of the day and, indeed, since taking over The Forest, the present owners have been accredited with 2 AA rosettes annually since 2001 and a listing in both the Good Food and Michelin Guides. There are 12 boutique en suite bedrooms available at a current rate of £120 for double occupancy which includes cooked breakfast.
