Private parties are all about creating an event to remember and The Forest has earned an enviable reputation for the first class service and high quality food served in its private dining rooms.

The key to our success, we believe, is the attention to detail. As a privately owned hotel we can offer a more personal level of service not found in many larger ‘corporate’ venues.

The Forest has the ability to tailor make menus to your requirements and budget, whether a sit down intimate dinner for 12 to an afternoon finger buffet for a christening or a fund raising ball to a 40th birthday celebration for up to 140 guests.

The smaller Claret room seats up to 40 whereas the larger Olive room, with it’s own bar, seats up to 140 people. Both rooms have air conditioning for comfort and dimmable lighting to set the mood.

The feedback from all our members was that it was first class. The room was great, the food terrific and the staff were excellent - naturally pleasant, helpful and accommodating. I would also add that the lunch ran like clockwork. Thank you. Serving our pre lunch drinks outside in the wonderful weather was a masterstroke - well done to you.

Silver wedding anniversary Sunday lunch
